Mission Statement
Through discipleship, fellowship, and outreach, equip and empower women at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church and in the greater community to grow in our knowledge of God while strengthening one another spiritually, mentally, and physically in the fulfillment of our call to the worthy walk.
- Provide spiritual teaching, leadership, and mentorship to women of all ages, races, nationalities, ethnicities, etc.
- Offer women an environment where we can feel comfortable sharing and openly expressing ourselves while studying Biblical scripture supplemented by Christian literature which addresses the role of discipleship as well as issues and concerns of today’s women of God.
- Counsel and pray for and with one another and for women in the greater community.
- Assist women in the discovery and use of their spiritual gifts and God-given talents.
- Connect with and build relationships with women through external and internal outreach, including discipleship studies at the Woodstock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and mentoring girls and spiritually younger women.
- Lead women to accept Christ as Lord; to become women of deep prayer; and to study the Bible and base their lives on the Word of God.
